As a bilingual engineer, former Houston Independent School District teacher, and community member who volunteers at an elementary school each week, Francy Baquero has the perfect qualifications for a profession where expertise, communication, and empathy are paramount.
Francy came to the U.S. from Bogota, Colombia, when her husband was relocated to Houston, where they have lived since 2005. Though she already had a degree as an industrial engineer, Francy had to immediately learn a new language and culture; that she did so rapidly is indicative of her intellect and adaptability as well as her ability to quickly work through high-pressure situations. Francy’s fluency in Spanish and English is a valuable asset in serving clients across a broad range of different cultures and age groups. She’s equally comfortable with commercial clients, millennial first-time buyers, and well-established professionals moving into or out of Houston.
In addition to having taught for 10 years, Francy maintains other academic pursuits. Her continuing education includes online courses on interior design, a hobby of hers that can be directly applied to her skill set as a real estate professional — yet another tool she employs in her effort to provide clients with extraordinary service. She does so in a kind and professional manner that communicates her core values of honesty and integrity.
Somewhere between being an active Realtor® and community volunteer, Francy finds time to indulge her passion for fashion, crafts, and weightlifting, and be the mother of two teenagers.
